I want to make a photo with black and white and then have one thing in the photo colored. Like a flower having color and then the rest of the picture be black and white. If anyone could give me a website that does this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I don't know of any web sites; just software. I use Photoshop CS2. If you want to email the image to me I'll do it for you. No problem.

If i take a picture of someone's flower and sell it do i owe them money?
meaning if i go into someones yard with their permission and take a picture of a flower in their garden and sell it do i have to pay them or is that up to me or up to them or what?

If the flower is unique perhaps there could be a property issue, but in any case if you asked permission and they gave it there should be no problem. The only thing that comes in would be again if the flower was somehow unique, like if the guy had developed some type of hybrid. In that case I would strongly suggest getting a property release before trying to publish the image. If you have no plans for commercial publication and only want to use the image for artistic prints then you need no release.
And ipshwitz, have you really been a professional photographer for 10 years? Your website http://www.wise-photos.net/index.asp says since 1998 and you are only 25 years old. So did you become a pro when you were 15 or were you 17? Maybe we should call you Uberboy!

All you need is a low level shot of a fresh flower sitting in some rocks or trash against an uncluttered background. Use an image editing program to select and isolate the flower then convert the rest to grayscale.

do the titles mean anything? the pictures? i have a good guess on the picture but idk about the titles. like Breaking Dawn, Midnight Sun, and the recent, already out books. i know what the apple means and i have a good guess on the flower: like "she loves me; she loves me not" but what are your guesses?

As the person above me said, Twilight's apple is standing for the forbidden fruit. This is the only cover Stephanie got to pick. The meaning I think of the actual Title is basically twilight. twilight is the end of a new day, and basically this book is the end of Bella's truly human life. This is what i think.
New Moon
As people above me said, the flower was picked because the publishers. I love your idea, it is very practical. The actual title i think means as others said, the dark part of her life, or the darkest part of the moon cycle. I also think that edward is her light, and since there is no light in a new moon this would make sense. Again just a guess.

Again Steph had no control over what they put on her cover. But I think it is the ribbon being torn apart because, she is torn apart by picking between the two loves. One half is her love for Jacob the other Edward. This is again a theory. And for the title. This I think is almost like how her "sun" Jacob covers the moon, Edward. Soak oasis in water till really wet pierce with a knife first when you see bubbles its me take out.
Use a fixing tape to secure then start to put your flowers and foliage .

How can I take wildflowers from the road, and put them in a flower bed?
There is about 15 different kinds of wildflowers that grow along my road, but my road is a dirt road so they get really dusty. i already took 12 wild roses but they are all in shock, but they will be ok next year. How can I take these other wildflowers and plant them in my flower bed? Just to name a few of the flowers, there are daisys, black eyed susans, fire weed, flowering maple, and this one type of small purple vine that looks like a mini wisteria. how can i do it, and make sure they are ok? oh, and its ok if its illegal, this is a dirt road that only gets about 20 cars a day. i tried to plant wildflowers from seed, and only about 5 small types of flowers came up, not the ones that were in the picture. it was the biggest waste of money i ever spent. oh, and one more question, is there any type of wildflower seed packets (or miracle gro stuff) that has many big flowers come up like snapdragons and is very full and colourful?

Public Property brings Criminal Charges against you!
First a real Wildflower Bed needs development and plannning. Set aside an area you wish to have as such a garden in your yard. Make the proper provisions, such as the soil, irrigation availability, and a border to keep the plants in place. Wildflowers are really weeds that will take over if not contained my friend!
With the planning, backfill with any dirt you can and some compost or manure your set to go. Again, confine the area with either a stone or timber wall no less than three foot tall and make it a full surround. After planning and executing that project examine your real purpose.
Do I want a true wildflower garden or a garden I can be proud of and tend? I believe the later to be more true. Set the garden to be receptive to any planting this fall. Spend the time between then and spring to put a plan on paper. Make a gradious plan with a Specimen Tree surrounded by rare plants. Then get real and plan a garden that reflects your obvious goal of color through the season.
There are so many plants and so many zones in this country that plants can grow in. Write me back for the zone you are in. I am at gjgjobs@yahoo.com and welcome such a challenge.

The plants I would use would be a Center Plant of Yucca, a background of Gereniums and a front of Midlandier Roses. All are cheap and available at any Nursery. Some of the plants you listed can easily be grown from seed or plants purchased at a nursery. Black Eyed Susan's only need to be planted once since they self propagate very easily. Those wildflower seed packets are usually not good and will contain more weed seeds than real flower seeds like you are wanting. You could make your own mixture of seeds. Buy packets of seeds that you like, mix them together and plant!

How do I get my photo shop pictures ot show up on my photogallery?
some of my pictures will show up but not all of them. I am trying to get some pictures up on my myspace that did on photoshop and when I go to up load them they dont show up, when I click pictures,, when i look it up in a file it is just a piece of paper and a flower ( a file icon thing) I think it has something to do with the writing or something. Make sure you save at 72 DPI which is standard for web...not 96...not sure what the guy below is thinking.

When I had watercolor painting class in college. Our professor would bring magazines filled with landscapes, people, animals, etc. We then would try to paint what we saw. As an artist, I have learned to use my own work to make reproduction. Like the other person said, go ahead and take a camera, take pictures, then use them to paint your work. This will help you work your way up to painting my memory, or sitting and paint your surroundings. You can find clients that would like their portrait reproduced in a watercolor painting. The better you get, you can then charge for your service.

The key is to focus on what inspires you and you will begin finding sources of inspiration in many places.

What is the name of this flower?
I'm trying to find a picture and the name of a flower. It has a thick stem, almost like a stalk, and has about 5 flowers on the sides going up the stem. The ones I saw were purple but it probably comes in other colors. I thought it might be an iris, but all the pics of irises I can find have one larger bloom at the top. This flower has small blooms going up the sides. If anyone knows the name, (and a link to a pic) it would be greatly appreciated!

I was having a look through the Argos book today, and i have to say that i think the fashions are really horrible. You cant seem to buy nice quality pictures anymore. Its all those canvas things now, with a flower on it, or circles and lines.
Even the lighting has gone all modern. I have got chandeliers in my lounge and dining room, but many of my neighbours have these chrome wiry things on their ceilings. I think they look horrid.
What are you preferences and why?

Got some absolutely lush canvas print/picture things done 20x24 from normal 10x8 photo's they're pretty damn cool

Most only cost a fiver though, you couldn't get them framed for that, never mind buy the print as well.
They also disposed of the hotel lighting, all top quality picked up for pennies.
I use a lot of plants to soften the room and create a warm ambiance. I like it and people always say how good it looks and it was done cheaply.

It is a bright orange flower with six petals, a dark purple center with a very interesting design to it, lots of purple pollen stems surrounding the center.. tall, too. They are all over the place where I live in northern NY.. Just can't find them in a flower shop to identify them or plant them myself. Thanks!

Reply:I actually had a friend who was going through a similar problem. What I'd do is go to the tattoo parlor and tell the tattoo artist what you're thinking. There's a good chance that they've done something similar, so have a picture of what you want in one of their books. Also, I had my lady free-hand it because she's really good. Just make sure that they do a sketch for you to see if you like it!
