Is there a website i can go to that will let me view my flower photos under UV light?
I have the pictures in color and i would like to see what they would look like under ultraviolet light.
This is purely for the sake of learning! Some flower pictures have different patterns under UV light.
Thanks so much!

You have to actually shoot the your flowers under UV to get those shots ... it is NOT a Photoshop trick.
You can find shots of other peoples flowers in full colour and under UV. They can show you what you can expect when you shoot your flowers under UV

Reply:What do you need them for?
You could always use the image search on yahoo (its just abovre the search bar in the home page), or you can use google image search (same location as on the yahoo page).
If your looking for something else, something more specific, or something of higher quality, you can check out the stock photo companies that will charge you about $1 for an image. There are a few good ones listed at www.makemoneywithphotos.com
Good luck

Georgian flower arrangement pictures and the colours they used?

Georgian flower arrangement pictures and the colours they used?
Usually for a collage you can just use whatever pictures you want. For college, need to do some research.
TRADITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS: Traditional designs of flower arrangements are those handed down from a previous generation and are considered to be, to a greater extent, decorative rather than interpretive, although there will be some element of the interpretive since one is executing the design today. These arrangements appeal to the senses; to sight, touch, and smell. Visually they emphasize natural lines of growth and the aesthetic qualities of color, form, and texture. Traditional designs stress smooth transitions and harmonious relationships in which similarities predominate over differences. Graceful rhythm is favored over forceful or conflicting movement; lines converge in a strong center of interest. Forms progress logically in size, colors are graded, and materials are consistent in character. The three classifications of traditional designs are Line, Line-mass and Mass.
Traditional Line DesignTraditional designs trace their beginnings to various European Periods. These European Periods include: Classical Greek and Roman (600 B.C. to 325 A.D.), Italian Renaissance (14th through 16th centuries), Dutch and Flemish (17th and 18th centuries), French (17th and 18th centuries), Georgian (18th and early 19th centuries), and Victorian (19th century). European styles of flower arrangement had certain similar characteristics. All were predominantly Mass designs in form, with quantities of garden flowers used for texture, color and form. Containers were characteristic of the period.
GEORGIAN: Designs were symmetrical, usually triangular, elegant and formal. Plant material of only one type was often used, and might be of one color with its variations.
1. Early Georgian (1714 - 1760): These designs were influenced by the Chinese and Italian Baroque, which employed rich, warm colors and heavy urns of metal or marble.
2. Late Georgian (1760) - 1820): Designs of the period reflected the influence of the french Rococo in the use of more delicate plant materials and colors. Victorian, (1820 - 1901): The use of flowers was dictated by Queen Victoria during her reign. General characteristics of these designs were similar throughout the Victorian period. Early Victorian designs showed a French influence. About 1850, Victorian designs portrayed the coming into power and wealth of the middle classes. Little restraint was shown and designs were overdone with flowers tightly massed losing their beauty of individual blooms.

Would like to buy a new digital camera for taking up close flower pictures. I have a Sony F707 and love it.?
Any suggestions on a good digital camera for me to look at.
Would like to buy a new digital camera for taking up close flower pictures. I have a Sony F707 and love it.?
I might suggest getting a Digital SLR now that they are getting cheaper -- that way you can get a "Macro" lens specifically designed for those closeups.
The Canon Digital Rebel XT is more than adequate.. might even consider a used Degital Rebel (also known as the 300D) As a Deigital Rebel user I ca nsay that over the years, if you use it you will be happy with the money spent.
Check this page for information on "macro" photograpy

I trying to find pictures of rock/flower center pieces to accent the front lawn?
We are removing our current lawn(front yard) and we want to show a beautiful center peice, such as, a rock/flower center piece garden, with grass. The backyard will be golf turf for my husband to use for putting his golf balls.
I trying to find pictures of rock/flower center pieces to accent the front lawn?
I wasn't able to find any truly spectacular examples but the picture at http://www.cottageliving.com/cottage/gar...
should give you some idea of the design principles for a circular flower bed. The idea is to create visual interest by using symmetry and by varying the height of the design elements. The centre should be something of height -- whether it is a fountain, a small tree, or a very large rock. It is then surrounded by circular plantings of medium height plants, followed by the lowest plants along the edges. You may want to vary the bloom times of the plantings that form your circles within the design -- tulips for spring closest to the centre, followed by progressively later blooming plants (or vice versa). For real punch, you can pick colours for each layer that are opposite each other on the colour wheel -- orange alternating with purple, or red alternating with blue. For something more harmonious, pick colours beside each other the colour wheel -- soft pinks and blues, for example.
Annuals will give you a longer bloom time, so are more often used for circular flower beds than perennials. If you live in a hot dry part of the country, then your design might feature more of the desert species, arranged and layered in the same way I've described above.

Ok, I have to make a "hald model" of a trumpet flower, but, like I said, I can only find lame pictures at weird angles, so you can't even see what's inside! How can I do this??? Please help me! It's due tomorow!
How do you make a hald model of a flower if all your referances are lame pictures at AWFUL angles?
Ok, you will need to be creative, and try using your imagination. Tap into the right side of your brain. And have fun with it.

What are good tips for flower pictures?
Give me some good pics and good advice.
What are good tips for flower pictures?
It would help to know what camera you have. If it has a "macro" setting, use it. Your Owner's Manual will tell you if it does.
I like to shoot "through" flowers - get behind the flower and look at the light illuminating the petals. I honestly believe that was the inspiration for stained glass centuries ago.
Use a longer lens - 100mm works well. Even at f11 the background will be a soft blur unless the flower is right on top of it.
Take your pictures from the side of the flower instead of directly head-on.
My pictures are at http://www.flickr.com/drifter45h

This is a site where amateurs and professional photographers post their pictures and can usually be readily downloaded with out any copyright infringement.
Reply:find the picture u want and then u has to contact the the owner of the photo and find out the copyright of the photo
Reply:Search on flickr.com. Each photographer specifies what license they offer on their photos. Many are either public domain or the photographer will grant you use if you ask them.
Good luck!
Reply:Find The Image - But Below The Image Give Credit To The Person!
Reply:Remember, you are only breeching copyright if you dont have the photographer's permission!
If you need something for say a school project, or maybe a small community event or whatever, just explain to the photographer what it's for, ask nicely and I'm sure that in most cases the photographer would let you use the image for free!
Also, I'm sure the copyright police wont come braking your door down when you use an image for say school homework. It may be an idea just to put the photographer's credit with the picture!

Reply:I am an avid photographer of flowers and would love to have them hanging somewhere for display. I would offer you display rights for any selected.
