The tattoo is my way of remembering three people in my life that were really close to me and passed away. Although it's not a traditional memorial, flowers have alot of meaning associate with these people. The picture doesn't have to represesent three (either three flowers or branched off three ways) but it has to be soft and cute on my side. I don't want it to be too big; probably just the length of my ribs. If you could help that'd be amazing. I've been looking for months and want to have at least a good idea of what I want so I can have the artist draw the perfect thing up for me. Thanks!
I want a flower tattoo going down my ribs. I haven't been able to find any cute pictures. Can you help?
why not research henna designs they are very often floral and are lovely.

you can comission a henna artist to draw what you want or buy a book of designs by a henna artist and use one of them.

Ribs...ouch. *wince*
Reply:why on your ribs???!!! Why not somewhere not stupid!
Reply:There are sooo many flowers out there! (I was a floral designer for a few years) First start by figuring out if you'd want something tropical, more european, wild flowers, there's so many. Then pick what you think would look good, given the shape and everything. Then colors. I love calla lilies but I decided not to get one because they have depth in them that I wasn't too sure would be captured by the tattoo. I chose a plumeria, same place where you want. It was my first, 2 sittings, total of 5 1/2 hours, $600, full of pain, seriously. But I love it. Good luck.

Reply:if you can envision it then you can draw it. even if you draw a rough draft, a professional or student or artist can finish it for you. professional tattoo artists can take an idea and make it nice.
i that fails, then get your camera. take pictures of real flowers growing and get inspired from them.
Reply:I suggest you decide what flower you want to represent each person and then ask ur tattoo artist to sketch a pic..and see if you like that one.
Reply:I think this one is nice, it has 3 flowers representing your 3 friends and a butterfly carrying them
