What's the names of these flowers? [pictures]?
I believe they are called may apples or may flowers. Are you finding them in marshlands as a wildflower? As a child, we used to have loads of these in a flood plain near a river, and they were just lovely.Masses of them, and they were truly delightful to see. Then, in the name of "Progress", the city sprayed herbicides over all the flowers and meadow to make it easier to mow, and I haven't seen a grouping of them in years. If these are the flowers I remeber, they don't stay in bouquets, just admire them in the ground in their natural setting, just like you did in the photos.











Out of curiosity, in what region of the country did you find them:?
Reply:It looks kind of like some sort of variation of buttercups- not 100% sure though.
