What kind of plant is this? **pictures**?

I'm wondering what kind of plant this is. The nut it came from looked very similar to an acorn so I'm assuming it is a kind of tree. Now I just noticed today that the some of the little buds on it are flowering. Thanks in advance for all answers. Here I have some pictures of it:

You are growing a very healthy Black Nightshade or Solanum nigrum L. It is a weed. There's a debate on how toxic it is. But I wouldn't keep it if I had kids or pets.

Hope this helps.

Reply:weed.

just kidding.
Reply:It looks like some type of vegetable... wait it out %26amp; see if it forms something when the flower falls off. (make sure to let us know when you find out! lol)
Reply:IF it starts to vine, it could be....

solanum jasminoides....

whichever it is, it's not a plant to 'love'... it's dangerous and shouldn't be handled without gloves.. does that tell you anything about it?....
Reply:I think you have some sort of nightshade.... a poisonous weed.... I

Reply:It is definitely not a tree, but it is in the Solenaceaea family (nightshade family) which usually have toxic leaves, but include some very yummy things such as potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant and peppers. The plant looks like a tomatillo plant to me, but I am not sure.

Reply:To me the foliage looks like shoofly.

The flower is different though. Are those what the "nuts" look like? If so then I would say SHOOFLY PLANT is your plant pictured.
Reply:Not a tomatillo...it is a noxious weed, probably delighted to find itself in a place of honor in your home. LOL Rip it out of your garden and get rid of all the seeds too! Trust me, you'll have a nightmare on your hands if your don't. I don't know what it's called but it will develop thorns when it gets larger and will tear up your hands if you wait too long to uproot it.
Reply:Nightshade around here has purple flowers, so my vote would not be for nightshade. These look more like the flowers on my potato plants but the leaves don't.

FYI, nightshade is not only poisonous but is also illegal in many communities.
