Does anyone know what kind of flower this is?

I'll put up a couple of pictures of the actual plant it came from.

Now, the flowers never opened up like the one in the pic. My daughter opened it herself.

Does anyone know what kind of flower this is?
It's a yucca plant. I have 6-8 in a flower bed. If you don't cut back the flower stem, the plant tends to tip over...for good.

Reply:Yucca, be careful the leaves are like swords and will make very painful cuts. It is pretty but hard to get rid of if you decide you don't like it.
Reply:Looks like an eastern yucca. They smell good.
