Now, the flowers never opened up like the one in the pic. My daughter opened it herself.
Does anyone know what kind of flower this is?
It's a yucca plant. I have 6-8 in a flower bed. If you don't cut back the flower stem, the plant tends to tip over...for good.

Reply:You can go on several landscape sites and it will show the flower , plus how to care for it . Thats what I do when i want to no what it is .

Reply:Yucca, be careful the leaves are like swords and will make very painful cuts. It is pretty but hard to get rid of if you decide you don't like it.
