Wedding flower ideas?

My wedding is in July and my colors are blue and white with red as an accent color. I need opinions on flowers. I thought about doing white and blue roses with some red thrown in or just red accents like ribbons or something. But roses can get pricey and I would like to know some other options I have. Does anyone know of a website I can go to to look at pictures of different kinds of flowers? Any other flower ideas? Please let me know your opinions!

Wedding flower ideas?
Go to any of the major florist websites like 1-800 flowers or FTD. They always have great ideas.

As for cost, one way to get what you like and keep the cost down is to see if a nearby college has a floral arranging class, or something along those lines. sometimes a college has a degree in floral shop management and they have students do flowers for major events.
Reply:You're not going to find blue roses.

There are some roses that are sort of a very weird looking light purple that they call blue, but I would really call them blue myself - they are more of a lavender.

Try Dave's Garden or Garden Web for more flower pictures.

Are you looking to avoid a professional florist?

If not, go talk to one now and they will give you ideas.
Reply:These websites will show you all the flowers, including wild ones and which season they are prevalent in. If you don't want to do full bouquets, you can have the bridesmaids carry brandy snifters with one perfect floating flower and ribbon streamers on the stem of the snifter in the appropriate colors. Boutonnieres only take a couple of flowers and table decorations can also utilize single floating flowers.
